I changed over from Cable to DSL in June of this year for what I thought would be better service at a lower price . Installation was difficult what with filters and associated claptrap . Reliability was poor and tech support was weak plus sometimes charging $25 per incident . Fortunately I was concerned enough about the service that I went month to month on the lease agreement rather than 3 years which a substancial cancellation charge .
In early August I swallowed my pride and returned to my cable provider . They took me back and wonder of wonders had dropped the price for the first three months .
Side issue...cable reliability has been excellent . Tech support good .Download speed is significantly faster than DSL .
